Description Dwarf species.
Sexing No available data
Breeding Not difficult, just feed well and maintain a good water quality. Eggs are not touched by the parents. Fry very small and need infusoria the first few days.
You can also leave a large clump of Java Moss in the tank for the fry to feed on. The plant has plenty of small "creatures" that the fry could live on. Not suitable if you want to bring up many fry though.
Instead have a clump of Java Moss for them to spawn in. Take out the clump when you have seen them spawn and can see eggs in it.
Put the plant in a separate tank and feed the fry infusoria when they hatch. Put a new clump in the parents tank and they will spawn in a couple of days again. Keep changeing the clumps between the breeding tank and the hatching tank every few days.
